With shoes shined, brass polished and uniforms freshly pressed, the cadets of 735 Firebird Squadron are turned out as with any ordinary parade night. This however is not the case here. SGT York of the Area Cadet Office is paying a visit to observe how the Firebirds and their training year are shaping up. F/S David Hill, acting SWO, awaits the arrival of the Officers to fall in. Cpl Scott McMaster commands a flight in the background. If memory serves, this is about 1975 sometime in the late spring. The Dundas Armoury by this time, was operated by the Dundas Lions and had been cleaned up quite a bit since I joined the Squadron in 1972. My name is J. Douglas Bentley and I was the Squadron Photographer.
